About Terry Disley:
Terry Disley is an internationally acclaimed pianist, keyboardist, composer, arranger, 2 time Grammy Award nominee and winner of Londons’ best young jazz musicians award. He has been featured on hundreds of recordings with innumerable artists including Paul McCartney, Bryan Ferry, Van Morrison, Sir Mick Jagger, Dave Stewart, George Harrison, Billy Bragg, Terry Hall, Madness, Acoustic Alchemy, and the movie soundtracks Beautiful Girls, Showgirls, Crime Time, The Ref and Monument Avenue. He also opened shows for pianists McCoy Tyner, Monty Alexander and Cedar Walton, John McLaughlin, the Yellowjackets, Grover Washington, and Bob Dylan, and has been featured in newspapers, magazines, radio interviews and television shows around the world.

The Terry Disley Experience:
Terry founded the Terry Disley Experience in 2004 after several years spent touring and recording with British jazzer’s Acoustic Alchemy and a whole range of pop, jazz and rock stars worldwide. The Terry Disley Experience is now one of the most successful jazz / crossover groups on America’s west coast, with extensive international radio play, a catalogue of 6 CD’s and innumerable shows including the Catalina Island Jazztrax Festival, the Lake Tahoe Jazztrax Festival, the Bach Dynamite and Dancing Society, the Kuumbwa, the Sonoma Jazz Festival, Yoshi’s Oakland and Yoshi’s San Francisco.

As an arranger:
Terry is an experienced studio session player, producer and arranger. He arranged and orchestrated tracks by many famous artists and producers, including keyboards and string arrangements on sessions for Dave Stewart of Eurythmics as his musical director for 5 years.
